For piccata I do not use egg- but for chicken/veal parm, or chicken cutlet sandwiches, I use an egg bath ( actually a double egg bath)

Chicken francese is served in a light lemon sauce. Chicken piccata is served in a lemon-caper sauce

Don’t have a rec for it, but the dish (or something very similar) is often known as veal piccata. In fact, I don’t recall ever seeing a Veal Francesca listed on a menu. ed
