St. Paul --- Another Great Meal At The Barbary Fig
I have seen over the last couple years a number of negative reviews by folks who did not like the food at the Barbary Fig. They seemed off the mark to me, but I thought maybe I’d just gotten comfortable over the years...

Saint Paul, Special Al Fresco
I’ll put in a vote for Barbary Fig. Great patio and wonderful people watching. There should be a few flavorful but easy to digest items on the menu.

Saturday Night Birthday Dinner in Minneapolis
at the Barbary Fig is a great way to spend an evening if it isn’t too hot. The food is superb and reasonably priced. Best fish and veggies in town. Walk to the Grand Old Creamery after dinner for homemade ice cream.

Twin Cities - French or Middle Eastern Cuisine
I’ve always enjoyed Barbary Fig, on Grand Avenue in St. Paul. They do Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food with a large French influence. They also have very nice outside seating on a deck.

Best non-dressy dinner in twin cities?
so. For truly casual places I like Mildred Pierce and Barbary Fig in St. Paul. Zander is also pretty casual and excellent, also in St. Paul.
