    Nook

If you want great mac and cheese go to Violet in Santa Monica. I agree with you about Nook. Very overrated. I also had a dry, dull burger. The boiled peanuts they serve as a snack when you arrive are truly gross. (1 reply, last updated by Mr. Eats April 11, 2005)

    Comparable to Nook?

I’m looking for a place on the westside that’s comparable to Nook in terms of price and quality. Entrees mostly under $20 for dinner, and relatively laid back atmosphere. Any recs? Thanks! (18 replies, last updated by herculesmulligan October 18, 2007)
