Tapestry
Tapestry is a charming bistro off of Main Street in downtown Los Gatos. The room is airy with lots of windows and access to a nice outdoor eating area. The place was initially pretty empty at 7.30 but well dressed people kept... (0 replies, last updated by Ken Hoffman May 22, 2003)

Tapestry in Los Gatos is a really lousy restaurant
A friend of ours wanted to get together for dinner at Tapestry last night. I remember thinking it was indifferent the last time we went a couple of years ago, but it was her birthday and her convenience, so hey. What a bummer.... (0 replies, last updated by Judith Hurley October 31, 2004)

Parcel 104
For the price, I would suggest Tapestry in Los Gatos. Cheaper and better food. Also, Dio Deka. Maybe not cheaper, but still better food. Parcel 104 isn’t bad, it’s just not that goodfor the money. (2 replies, last updated by Claudette July 3, 2008)

Michael Mina Question?
Best red wine by the glass? BV Tapestry. Also try Michael Minna’s in San Jose known as ACADIA. It is fantastic but pricey. They took many SF employees with them to open new place. Food is killer. Have the chicken for 2. (3 replies, last updated by try this March 2, 2005)

dinner in Los Gatos on a Thursday night
I always think Cafe Marcella is reliable, although some find it a bit noisy, and someone once said that they felt rushed there. Tapestry is pleasant. It’s not the meal of a lifetime, but you won’t be disappointed.... (2 replies, last updated by vn October 9, 2003)

suggestion for down town Los Gatos?
Maybe this reply is too late to be of any use, but Cafe Marcella and Tapestry are both quite nice. Some of my friends like Pigalle, but I find it a little overbearing — old fashioned French cuisine and always at least one... (1 reply, last updated by Judith Hurley November 1, 2001)

Fine weekend lunch in San Jose area?
Tapestry in Los Gatos is open 11:30-2 on Saturdays. Not quite as upscale as you have listed, but the food is good and they have a nice patio to enjoy your lunch. Dio Deka in LG has Sunday brunch from 10:30-2. (6 replies, last updated by Truffle Dog September 12, 2008)

Sushi Mashiko - PK's Review
Friday, I was hoppin' around those parts with a friend and we took a big big chance on this strip mall sushi locale. Overall, it was a chance worth taking – decor and service not withstanding. Since I was scared to death by... (0 replies, last updated by PoetKitty July 23, 2006)

. Be sure to see the tapestry while you’re there. If you are into needlework, they sell kits to reproduce sections of the tapestry and they are very cool. Be sure to allow a couple of days to see the D-Day sites. Don’t... (4 replies, last updated by Janet June 11, 2003)

Anyone been to "Time" [Restaurant, Whisky Bar & Tap Room, Absinthe Lounge] which replaced Ludwig's Garten on Sansom?
, which tasted more like sambucca but I guess that’s on par for US absinthe. Service was flakey. The ambiance is intersting – jazzy, airy lounge on one side, dark, Ludwig-esque dive on the other side, and a dingy,... (2 replies, last updated by Hendi August 6, 2008)

Casual wedding party dinner for foodies in/around Campbell San Jose CA.
If you want to stay in Campbell - you might try Olio on Campbell Ave. It is a bit small, but really good food, good wine list and pretty affordable. In Los Gatos, Tapestry is great and has a nice patio with a stone fireplace if... (3 replies, last updated by compass July 2, 2008)

Rock Bottom in Campbell
. Orchard Valley coffee in downtown Campbell is worth a try for morning coffee. For higher end, Manresa in LG is considered to be one of the top restos in the area. That’s only about 5 miles from your location. Also James... (2 replies, last updated by lgphil June 10, 2008)
