    Plate in Ardmore

A friend who dined there last night said they sold him a $9 martini. I guess the main line state stores don’t get enough Tanqueray. (Not 10, 9.) He couldn’t remember the place’s name, but he remembered $9.

Every day mixing Tequila, Rum and Gin.

at Beefeaters, Tanqueray, Bluecoat and or Citadelle. I like a very London Dry taste, I don’t like Plymouth that much and am looking for a good Juniper taste. I’ve tried all of these, I just can’t make up my...

    The Original Bond Martini

Since you’re in SF, you might be able to find Aviator from Portland. It’s excellent. In Casino Royale, he ordered Gordon’s Gin. But Bond himself probably would have no problem with Boodles, Beefeater, or...

    drink like james bond

I have tried it. It’s a nice variation on the regular martini. To really get it right you want to use Tanqueray (the Gordon’s in America is only 80 proof, Tanqueray is 92), and 100 proof vodka. Kina Lillet can’t...

    plymouth gin

I would add that because Plymouth is so light, it’s better with a smoother tail like a Negroni. I think something a bit harsher, like Tanqueray, works better in a gin and tonic.

    Gin: my new hobby

Wow! An excellent question — I just got into gin recently myself, and I’m rather fond of Bombay Sapphire. I branched out and tried Hendrick’s & Tanqueray Rangpur, but I find them very weak and unflavourful after...

Breakfast near Muse Hotel - inexpensive

I found a reference to a “T&T Breakfast Casserole” (thanks, google!) but it doesn’t have any ingredients that start with T. Very confusing. Tanqueray & tonic? http://community.tasteofhome.com/forums/t/664184.aspx...

    "Recession Spirits"

I liked the Recession Vodka thread and started thinking (I know, “Dangerous”) what about other spirits? What’s a good gin that won’t bankrupt me? (Tanqueray is simply too offensive and Beefeater so close to...

Looking for 2 bars in Orlando

are pretty high end too—Tanqueray counts as a call and so does Stoli. Pool is free. It’s non-smoking too (though that isn’t a plus for everyone).

Should I really give gin another try?

of my head are tanqueray and some seagrams. I wasn’t wowed by the botanicals, I felt like someone ran the christmas tree through the juicer. I’m considering trying another brand that I know I haven’t had before...

    ISO Navy Strength Pymouth Gin

I have recently become a gin drinker. Found Plymouth with the help of the hounds here. Gin and club soda is sooo refreshing. Plymouth won a taste testing against Tanqueray Ten at my house. Plymouth was favored by myself my sister...
