You could try Cafe del Sol. It’s on the north side of East 7th St., just a smidgeon east of Arcade (within a block or two of Arcade). I’ve only been there once but found it to be rather tasty, and they do serve beer....

Year (though I may be wrong) My tip would be to go to the Dux de Lux, a pub near the University – fantastic beers, quite good food (well for a pub) and I’m sure they will have bands on for NYE. It will be busy though!
