My family will be spending two weeks in the Savoie region in the town of Bourg St. Maurice this Christmas. Any recommendations on restaurants in this region?

Saveurs de Savoie at 83 rue Mouffetard. Pretty basic but good and inexpensive. Good service and quite convivial.

The area around Grenoble, however, is near to Savoie, and that area is well known for a white wine called Vin Jaune, about which I know very little.

Savoie's Fare in Laguna Niguel is excellent.

i lived in lyon and upon my return i went on a long hunt to find this in toronto and had little success. i was able to find it in montreal. however, Cumbreas and a place in St Lawrence carry un truc de savoi...whith herbs around....
