Here’s one that I missed. Regal Palace in Lomita vacated their premises and went out of business a while back. The space has since been taken over by another Chinese restaurant with a name something like P. V. Seafood....

Any reviews/recommendations on this place? I am particularly interested in those with experience in how they handle food and service for weddings and larger functions (excess of 350 people). Thanks!

Jade Palace in Palo Alto shifted from principally Cantonese to specializing in Shanghai style dishes with a change in owners early last year. The interior has been spiffed up, and the entrance shifted toward California Ave....

Two places come to mind—Regal Palace, 2166 Pacific Coast Highway in Lomita, and Sea Empress, 1636 W. Redondo Beach Bl. in Gardena.

Regal Palace, 2166 Pacific Coast Highway in Lomita would hold its own if it were in the San Gabriel valley.
