I want to make pizza dough for the first time. Can anyone suggest a recipe that is not too difficult? Also, is the quality of the pizza stone important?

Rays pizza on 6th ave and 11th st is the best pizza in the world!!!! I consider myself to be a pioneer of the palate when it comes to NY style pizza.
