cocktail book that uses different bitters?
Well, I don’t need a book with recipes particular to Fee brothers per se, just recipes calling for bitters beyond Angustura, orange or Peychaud's varieties.

Herbsaint and Peychaurd Bitters
The Pegu Club in Soho sells Peychaud's as does Lenell’s in Red Hook. Herbsaint is hard, but not impossible, to find here. Pernod is a decent substitute, even if it is a little less intense and a smidge less green.

Angostora Bitters
The only thing you could potentially substitute for Angostura bitters would be another non-potable bitters, most likely orange bitters or Peychaud's bitters. And if you don’t have Angostura in the house, you sure as hell...

Very interesting! Looks like these people also own Peychaud's Bitters, another hard-to-find bar staple, and an absolutely essential ingredient in a proper Sazerac tail.

Oysters Rockafeller
't know where to get Herbsaint outside of the area, either—strangely, Peychaud's Bitters is easy to find, but no Herbsaint. I’ll be picking up a bottle when I visit next week.
