    Peugeot Pepper Mill question

My peugeot pepper mill hasn’t been working well for a while and I finally looked at the bottom and it looks like it is rusted out. Is this normal? I use it regularly, keep it on the counter near the stove. I’ve never... (0 replies, last updated by vvv03 January 17, 2008)

    Peugeot pepper mill

I have an old Peugeot pepper mill that has lost its oomph. No longer grinds very well. I know these things are supposed to be guaranteed for life – so how do I go about getting it fixed/replaced/whatever? I’m sure... (10 replies, last updated by fgf October 10, 2007)

Candy - Please read [Moved from Home Cooking Board]

Hi Candy, I noticed your other post that you own a white lacquer Peugeot pepper mill. May I ask where you purchased it? I am desperately seeking a white lacquer Peugeot salt and pepper mill set myself. Thanks! (1 reply, last updated by Claudette April 29, 2008)

    fresh pepper and salt

I like Peugeot pepper mills. They make a salt mill too, but I just crush coarse salt in a mortar. (2 replies, last updated by MikeG February 6, 2006)

Peppermill req for MikeR from the DC board

I swear by PEUGEOT. I had two of their mills for years. They are just great. Look underneath to see if the brand name is engraved. (4 replies, last updated by MikeR December 22, 2007)

Help! A Peppermill that will last more than a month

    pepper mills

I need to buy a pepper grinder (and perhaps a matching salt mill!) I’m tempted by the one-handed pepper ball, which seems very useful when cooking, but I also am impressed by the peugeot brand (boyf’s an engineer).... (11 replies, last updated by sivyaleah March 1, 2006)

    Tulipe

I did a one month stage at Tulipe in 1990 as my mentor Richard Thompson was the Exec Sous there. Tulipe as I recall was co owned by Chef’s Roland Gibert and Maurice Peugeot(sp?) It was a great place. (2 replies, last updated by wiz September 16, 2007)

pepper mill mechanism- ceramic vs. metal

Are you sure the mechanism is ceramic and not white plastic? For my money, I’ve been using a couple of Peugeots for many years without and problems with rust. These are far superior to other brands IMHO. (3 replies, last updated by ironmom August 29, 2002)

    pepper mill recommendation?

In my experience, having a Peugeot mechanism is the most important factor. My folks have had a Peugeot grinder for 30 years, and it’s still going strong, and I love ours. (23 replies, last updated by Allie March 14, 2003)
