Haven’t been to Pegu Club recently but with drinks that good I would hope it’s not going anywhere. I hear Lure Fishbar has a happy hour you might want to look into. I would also second Savoy.

tails and hors d’oeuvres at Pegu Club perhaps? I like the bar at Chez Jacqueline, as well. Very classic and comforting.

Dove on Thompson has great tails at $6 a pop. If you’re going all out, do Pegu Club on Houston or Lupa. And, I’ve never been there, but my boyfriend swears by Angelshare, though that may be out of your way.

I’m more of a wine drinker but you can try Half Pint for beer and Pegu club or Little Branch for tails.
