Tavern on the Green. It is pricey, but magical for children, especially at night. My kids also like the “grill your own” Korean places, cheese fondue and hot chocolate at Payards (not for kids with behavior issues).

Bear Claws in NYC?
I love bear claws, too. Don’t think I’ve seen an authentic one in years of living in the NYC area. The closest I’ve gotten is a great almond croissant.. at Payard or a few other places. Good luck!
