Kosher
oxo
My husband found a recipe for lamb stew which involves something called OXO. Does anyone know what it is, if it’s kosher and if not, what would be a kosher equivalent? Thanks. (4 replies, last updated by folklaur70 September 10, 2004)

Is there such a thing as a bad Oxo product?
I was just thinking about all the cooking utensils and products that I own now, and how I often wound up replacing a bad one with an Oxo and found the Oxo to be so much better. This includes the carrot peeler, ice cream scoop,... (95 replies, last updated by foufou January 18, 2009)

Overrated OXO peeler?
I bought this OXO peeler a couple years ago after hearing good things from many quarters. But I’ve got to say, I’m unimpressed: Doesn’t seem all that sharp, and the shape is more bulky than ergonomic for my... (23 replies, last updated by Lorraine Althoff May 4, 2006)

Oxo Salad Spinner or Herb Spinner
I have the oxo salad spinner and absolutely love it. It does take up some space in the fridge, but is totally worth it because it actually makes your lettuce stay fresher for a few more days. (21 replies, last updated by MollyGee September 15, 2006)

New OXO mandolin - thumbs up!
Being a bit of an equipment geek, I had to try out the new OXO mandolin. Well, I can safely say this is by far the best mandolin (at least for non-professionals) in the market. It has a great rubberized feel, really easy to clean,... (3 replies, last updated by SteveT October 17, 2004)

Is the OXO v-slicer as awful as their straight-blade mandoline?
As others have noted here and elsewhere, OXO's products tend to be excellent, but their mandoline is an aberration: A well-designed frame holding blades that aren’t just dull, but actively blunt (is there such a thing?). I... (1 reply, last updated by BryceC August 28, 2009)
