For prime cuts of steak, try Savenour’s on Beacon Hill, John Dewar in Newton Centre, or the Butcher Shop in the South End. They’re all pricey, but deliver the goods on quality.

John Dewar in Newton Center either has, or can order, absolutely anything and the quality is consistently high. They are expensive but IMO you do get your money’s worth.
