It’s just about that time of year for Oktoberfest celebrations. Anyone have any information regarding where some of the best places are to celebrate? Any information about the best beer, food, or German music is helpful.

I’m new to the whole Oktoberfest tradition, as in I have no idea what it is. I just know it involves a lot of “good beer.” So I’m curious, what kind of beer do people drink on Oktoberfest?

recommend them. The El Cajon one is a little more of an authentic Oktoberfest celebration where the La Mesa one is more of a street fair with a beergarden – but they are both a fun way to mark the change of seasons!

Koestritzer Oktoberfest beer flown in especially for the event, as were the sausages and schnapps. Lots of schnapps. I’m paying for it today, but it was worth it.
