Fillmore's is great, my father and I go there all the time for a quick lunch or dinner. Great wait staff, but small dining room, so call ahead if you’re going at peak time unless you don’t mind hanging out at the bar....

low cost steak dinner in queens
My friend swears by the blackened cajun steak @ Millard Fillmores in Flushing. Owned by the same people as the White House in Whitestone. Nice pub atmosphere with realistic prices for a good steak. jk
