Mezes, Marina, SF (long)
Got a Greek buddy of mine to join me in checking out this place for its namesake, mezes, aka Greek tapas. It’s a comfortable and welcoming place with a mezzanine at the back half of the dining room just above the bar. The...

Meze and Rice Garden
Went to Meze in scenic Charlestown last nite, and Charlestown is actually quite scenic in spots. The place is as loud as people say, and the blonde wood isn’t what I’d pick, but it’s a fun place and was almost...

israeli restaurant with that serves great meze
I second Itzik Hagadol. Man-oh-man there’s a lot of food — mezes I guess you call them — before getting down to the meat skewers. Great bread, too. Go hungry! By the way, Itzik is in Encino, fyi.

Just Meze versus Turquoise - in westchester
I prefer Just Meze. I think the food is a little more interesting and better prepared. I also like the atmosphere better. I’ve never been a fan of Turquoise, but I have plenty of friends who love it.
