lucky baldwins in old town: certain nights there is a jpl caltech vibe, others are more art center themed. anyway they have fun, educated clientele.

Lucky Baldwin's in Pasadena on Raymond (south of Colorado). The place has been a party every night. Great food, good beers and much less hostile company than you will find on the westside.

Besides Lucky Baldwin's, Crown City Brewery and Father’s Office, this is definitely another LA gem for good beer.

I’m particularly fond of Lucky Baldwin's Delirium Cafe (in Sierra Madre) - great flakey crisp & a nice rich piece of fish. Also served with peas (to make you feel slightly more British and/or slightly less guilty ;) ) ~H.C....
