    Les Halles?

there’s at least one place better than Les Halles for steak frites (and probably a lot more). IMHO Les Halles in DC has deteriorated to little more than a cigar bar. for steak frites, try Bistrot du Coin. (3 replies, last updated by ANCyM July 7, 2003)

    Les Halles

In a message in the “dinner downtown” chain, someone asked about the DC Les Halles. My husband and I have been there several times, but swore it off three or four years ago. The problem was not the food, which was... (1 reply, last updated by John September 7, 2000)

    Les Halles

For my birthday today I treated myself to an expensive lunch, at Les Halles on Park Ave. The mussels were excellent, and I enjoyed the pate (which I have never eaten before, so I can’t really rate it.) The service I could... (4 replies, last updated by Tom Steele May 25, 1998)

    Les Halles

I’ve been to Les Halles many times over the years, and it’s become incredibly popular—with good reason: It’s as good a bistro as any in Manhattan, and it’s reasonably priced. If you like blood... (8 replies, last updated by Tom Steele January 7, 2001)

    Les Halles

Who has read “Kitchen Confidential” and eaten and Les Halles, and what did you think? (I enjoyed the book a lot, and, having moved to the Midwest years ago, haven’t had the chance to try out the restaurant.) (6 replies, last updated by Jim Leff November 2, 2001)

    Les Halles

Hi, Does anyone know when Anthony Bourdain is actually at Les Halles? I haven’t been there before, but would like to maybe go soon. Also, when is the least busy time to go and what are the best dishes to order? I would love... (17 replies, last updated by Argg August 29, 2003)

    Les Halles ... Les Horror

Went to breakfast [uptown branch] a few days ago and had one of the worst dining experiences ever. Dining is actually too dignified a word for the experience. In a less than half full restaurant the service was lost in action.... (1 reply, last updated by coleyas March 1, 2009)

    Paris, Chatelet Les Halles

My initial reaction was sort of similar to yours. And then I realized that I didn’t really know what the OP meant by godforsaken... because it is a huge and confusing transit center to those unfamiliar with it, because the... (4 replies, last updated by souvenir January 16, 2009)

    In Praise of Les Halles

I haven’t been able to find too many opinions of Les Halles through the search process but my sense is that it is not a Chowhound favorite. While deciding on options for a New York City visit I considered Les Halles a must-stop... (1 reply, last updated by kcijones001 July 23, 2008)

    Bourdain at Les Halles?

Has anyone been to Les Halles recently? How much involvement does AB have with Les Halles since No Reservations not to mention his frequent guest spots on radio etc? Has anyone noticed a drop off (or, rise for that matter) in... (6 replies, last updated by financialdistrictresident October 4, 2007)
