I’ve seen it described as a “bracing” blend of Lapsang Souchong and Assam Black. Makes sense, as the tea is reminiscent of a peaty single malt.

I have to recommend my favourite, Lapsang Souchong. It’s smokey, pungent flavour makes it the ideal tea for coffee drinkers, IMHO.

My personal fave blend, and what I think might fit the bill of what you’re looking for is YUNNAN, which has a hint of smoky leaves blended in. Not anywhere near as strong as a Lapsang Souchong, which is at the strongest end...
