That’s too bad you had a bad experience there. I’ve never had a bad meal there yet. I do have to say that Kingyo provides the smallest bang for buck of all the Izakaya...especially compared to the Guus.

Admittedly, I don’t usually pay attention to the veggie-friendly dishes at izakayas. However, I’ve been to Kingyo with a vegetarian before and I recall there were at least a couple good tofu-based dishes.
