Anybody know of anything open for a nice afternoon lunch?

I have some good friends visitng from out of town this weekend. Just looking for a cool rooftop bar on the east side (preferrably with a view of the fireworks) to knock back some good beers with the guys. Any suggestions?

I would not plan Pub & Kitchen for 6 persons on July 4, they don’t take reservations and you could have a long wait.

i was leaning towards momofuku but the no reservations scares me. Although 4th of July isnt the busiest time in NYC.
