The recent cover story on this site regarding Japanese whisky made me wonder if anyone has seen any Japanese whisky at a liquor store other than Suntory Yamazaki, as Yamazaki is all I ever saw.

-like bar attached to Yokocho. They have some fabulous Japanese Whiskies that are on the shelves, but not on the menu. The problem with them is that groups are limited to 4 people. The place is fantastic!

Japanese whiskies are mostly made in the Scottish style but to me taste like something between Scotch and Bourbon. They have been making whisky for a very long time there and it deserves to be recognized as it’s own...

This is much more common with japan, and more specifically japanese whisky with sushi. It’s a little lighter and sweeter than scotch if memory serves me correctly.
