I’ve been meaning to get back here since being mildly disappointed in a pistachio gelato on brioche I tried last year. The texture and creaminess were perfect but the pistachio wasn’t as intense as Il Laborotorio....

I’m planning to stop by Il Lab at some point for their fresh mint gelato, but I’d love to hear some recs for other places with a good version of mint gelato. Also, has anyone seen bright green mint granita around town?

As gelato I recommend you three places: AL SETTIMO GELO www.alsettimogelo.it the location is in the center, in the area named Prati. The ice-cream maker is a young lady, Lady Mirella and some tastes are excellent and unusual....

My suggestion for memorable gelato in Milan is IL MASSIMO DEL GELATO, in my opinion, the best gelato in Milan. Massimo is the patron, Massimo Travani. I appreciate very much crema, gianduia and nocciola. Location is in Sempione...

I remember having fig gelato at Solferino (last year, but am not sure if that’s part of their “regular” line-up) and Il Gelatierie. Oh, and I enjoyed both. :)

You should do a search as there have been a few threads on this. In short, no. I gave it 2 shots and wasn’t impressed. I prefer L’Arte del Gelato, Otto, and Il Lab
