Aging lambics
Yup. Fruit lambics, geuze, and even some flemish sour ales and other experiments/tributes of that ilk (e.g. the Russian River, Pizza Port/Lost Abbey, and Captain Lawrence sour beers that have come out in the past couple of years,... (9 replies, last updated by Foodnerds March 18, 2008)

Looking for lambic fans.
actually like the Casis since they don’t add a ton of adjunct sugar unlike their other fruit beers. But traditional Lambic is a very sour product and may take some getting used to. I’d start with Oud Beersel Kriek and... (8 replies, last updated by Ernie Diamond September 20, 2006)

Lambic--is it really that hard to find?
it is not. I said quasi-lambic because it’s not a lambic, but the fruit flavors they use make a beer that is somewhat reminiscent of the sweet lambics like Lindemans. (16 replies, last updated by designerboy01 August 28, 2006)

Where to get Lindemans Framboise Lambic in Calgary?
I had a bottle of Lindemans Peche Lambic last night at Kawa Espresso Bar (and what a scene it is there at night- convivial!); did not notice if the had framboise but it’s worth asking if the do and where they source it. (6 replies, last updated by javelina August 1, 2009)

fruited beer
That would be Whatcom County, wouldn’t it? I’m not surprised that the old Dutch farmers up there have little interest in fruit beers and lambics. Luckily, Pyramid is doing an apricot weizen. Might find that at... (14 replies, last updated by Mr Siegal June 29, 2008)

You might like Ommegang Three Philosophers, it’s in a similar vein, a blend of strong dark belgian-style ale with fruit lambic. (3 replies, last updated by folprivate April 22, 2009)

Seeking a very beery apple beer
I second the Unibroue Ephemere rec. Apple flavored, but with a dryish malt flavored body also. If you don’t like sweet lambics, check out some more “authentic” versions that have not been sweetened with fruit... (11 replies, last updated by Josh August 6, 2006)

Serving raclette, what beer would you suggest?
(or spicy, in the case of the saison) flavors, with lower alcohol and minimal hop character, so there won’t be any fighting with the delicate flavors of the raclette. Another great pairing could be a traditional fruit... (3 replies, last updated by Calico Jack March 8, 2008)

Is there any Lindemans Framboise on Tap in SF?
Technically, the Lindemans Framboise is a fruit Lambic Ale. A fruit Lambic is a spontaneously fermented ale(using wild airborne yeasts), where the fruit is fermented with the grains. A Gueuze is a barrel aged, fruitless Lambic.... (8 replies, last updated by Gary Soup September 15, 2003)

I make a reduction of a kriek lambic ale sauce (or other types of fruit lambic- it just has to be real Belgian lambic not a US microbrew saying it’s a lambic). While there is the fruit component it is not sweet due to the... (9 replies, last updated by Mrs. Smith January 21, 2004)

sam adams: is it serious beer?? which are best and which are your faves??
a true lambic should be. Lindeman’s fruit lambics are sugary-sweet and one-dimensional compared to the stuff made by Hanssens, Boon, and Oud Beersel. (91 replies, last updated by Kenji August 13, 2007)
