tried the old but new "fresco" menu at tb this week – they replace the cheese w/pico de gallo – and was sort of on the fence. i didn’t miss the fake cheese but the pico de gallo didn’t really hit the spot....

Has anyone been to Frescos's lately? Has it changed ownership in the last six months. I last went to it about six months ago.

- including appetizers and entrees. Recently, my husband really enjoyed the beef carpaccio with truffle oil. Two decent regular-menu entrees are grilled swordfish with capers and the penne vodka shrimp entree.

Having been a fan of Fresco Tortilla in NYC before I stopped working there 6 or so years ago, I was excited to see that it has opened a place in Mineola, mere blocks from my house. I’ve tried it a half dozen times so far....

to be desired. Pretty, if cramped, room, good service, semi-interesting northern Italian menu....food is average at best, though.

the Venice, I think, and the ciabbata that it was on was very well made, nicely crisped on the outside without being tough. There was arugula on the sandwich, which I really liked, but this isn’t on the menu description....

We went to the new Fresco location last night. It is in the Santa Barbara Inn where Citronelle used to be. We went with a party of 5 and had reservations. We were there at 6:30 and there were a few empty tables, those filled...
