Quick Fenway trip - Eastern Standard, Fenway Franks, Finagle Bagel
rolls. We stayed at the Omni Parker House which has tiny rooms, but amazingly comfortable beds and got a great night’s sleep. The Omni is near a place called Finagle Bagel, and we decided to grab a bagel for breakfast.... (17 replies, last updated by TrishUntrapped May 15, 2009)

Bagels (again) - Aesop vs. Finagle vs. Bruegger's
's the price you pay for such a delicious bagel up front, right outta the oven. Ultimately, I think Rosenfeld and Brueggers bagels are pretty similar. Not at all knowledgable re: Aesop....and well, a Finagle Bagel, while very... (31 replies, last updated by Todd Chapin January 6, 2003)

Bagels
I know most will disagree – but by far the best bagel around here is Finagle. I find them always consistent and fresh. Brueggers is the worst bagel place in history. I used to go to Katz in Chelsea and Zeppy’s in... (21 replies, last updated by Bruce Smith June 20, 2005)

Bagels in Waltham?
I recently moved to Waltham (off of Main St.) and have not had any luck finding a good bagel place. About 3.5 miles away is Bruegers in Belmont Center, but that is pretty far and the bagels there are ever shrinking. Newton Center... (3 replies, last updated by Duster17 October 27, 2008)

Bagels in Boston?
Being from Vermont originally, I sure don’t know a good bagel and am fine eating choc. chip ones from Finagle-a-Bagel (blasphemy I know). But that bagel place in Newton Center that’s downstairs seems pretty good and I... (17 replies, last updated by Sarah December 6, 2001)

Looking for bagel cutter
I’ve used one of those type of bagel cutters...I think they end up smushing the bagel, but they do get the job done. Short of one of those buzz-saws they have at Finagle-A-Bagel stores in the Boston area, a serrated knife... (4 replies, last updated by Karen K November 6, 2008)

Best Cape Cod Bagels
At risk of feeling like I have sinned, I’ve found the plane bagel at BJ’s very good, but not so much the five or so other varieties. A problem could be the BJ policy of buy nine! Not sure if Shaws still carries... (6 replies, last updated by BlueSoup April 26, 2009)

Best bagel place?
Bagels at Rosenfelds are tasty but too small and they’re too cheap to give you a baker’s dozen. Cafe Bagel in Needham and Dedham, and Bagel's Best in Needham are both good. Best chain is Finagle a Bagel. Zeppy’s... (31 replies, last updated by baconodka May 19, 2008)

best bagel in boston?
I like Kupels' best, but they wouldn’t be good in NYC imo. Bagel Rising is decent. I think Iggys' are interesting but too hard. Finagle a Bagel's bagels have OK flavor but the texture is far too bready. To be honest, I... (63 replies, last updated by Karl S February 7, 2007)

Bagel World, Reading or Bruegger's- which bagels are more authentic?
I have to agree...I remember with definite concern, my reaction when Finagle a Bagel came into Reading competing with Bagel World. I even suggested to the owner, Stan (a Pole!) that perhaps he should offer sandwiches with bread,... (20 replies, last updated by Karl S December 12, 2006)

Bagels and smoked fish like in NYC?
One of my favorite things about New York is a deli where I can get "real bagel" with cream cheese thick smoked whitefish, trout, salmon. Anything like this in Boston? (e.g. I am not a fan of Finagle a Bagel). (24 replies, last updated by barlev March 31, 2005)
