If you like good tequila, most would say avoid Cuervo. My favorite has always been Don Julio and I highly reccommend it.

Tequila recs?
Patron is fairly mediocre for a sipping tequila. They can get out of control expensive. Anejo tequilas are designed for sipping but too much for my tastes. My favorite is Don Julio reposada, not too pricey (about $50).
