recommednations for whole wheat pasta
I usually only use semolina pasta, but I found DeLallo brand organic whole wheat at whole foods recently for a change of pace. It has a great flavor and is made with bronze dies like the imported italian semolina pasta I buy....

Trader Joe’s organic marinara sauce works for me in pinch. Can even pass it off as my own to my Italian parents. Just have to remember to hide the empty jars.

I have found that Muir Glen Organic tomatoes, which are produced in California’s San Joaquin Valley, taste the best in my recipes. I really like they rich flavor they give to my pasta sauce.

Lemon juice in the plastic lemon..
are more than acceptable substitutes the one I use is DeLallo. As for real lemon if you look at the ingredients the first is water so I think we can figure that you get what you pay for.
