I’ve never been to Candle Cafe but I liked what I tried at Candle 79. I had the tiny vegetable dumplings and Seitan Piccata, and enjoyed both. I wasn’t in love with the Mexican chocolate cake I had for dessert.

Candle 79 (NOT Candle Cafe on 3rd Avenue) has a nice romantic atmosphere, with the bonus of your girlfriend being able to eat anything on the menu.

Need the nicest vegetarian resturant NYC has to offer..I hear good things about Candle 79/Candle Cafe, but is it a nice place? Please advise. Thanks!!!!
