For a bar scene, probably Bubble Lounge or Brandy Library. Neither are really restaurants. And neither are where I would go. I’d rather meet the kind of girl that hangs out at the Nancy Whiskey....

Depends on what you mean by downtown, I would recommend Pegu Club on Houston and possibly the brandy library. Hope this helps.

grace definitely isnt chic to me. if you dont mind a 3-5 minute walk, there’s brandy library on varick and north moore...this bar is amazing...particularly if you like scotch. city hall restaurant is good...so is odeon
