Blood Sausage with Apples and Potatoes

I am trying to be adventurous and make my own blood sausage..where in CT can I get the main ingredient fresh pig’s blood? I have seen blood in the Asisan market but it is congealed...if I heat that does it liquify........

Anyone know of any place on Long Island where any blood sausages( blutwurst,black pudding,morcilla etc.etc.) can be bought?either cooked or otherwise. Thanks

where could I find blood sausages? From time to time I would find them at Loblaws on Bathurst Sth of Lawrence but they don’t seem to carry them any more. Any suggestion? Thanks!
