almond and bitter almond

I’m looking at a recipe that calls for them. Note, not the extract, but the actual bitter almonds. Despite all my culinary explorations, I don’t remember ever seeing these for sale.

Don’t they have these at middle eastern markets like Jon’s? They have fresh green almonds, anyway...

Anyone know where I might find bitter almonds? I need them for an amaretti recipe and am having a hard time finding them. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
