Anyone have suggestions on where one can buy bitters (amer picon, amaro, etc. - not angostura, which Key Foods carries) in or near Brooklyn? Why are they so hard to find? Thanks much.

I found Peychaud's Bitters!
a coincidence. They have angostura bitters but are lacking any others, as well as good vermouths (noilly prat not included). I believe ABC carries Angostura orange. I purchased Regan’s #6 through kegworks (aka amazon)

that NYS liquor stores have been allowed to accept credit cards. Bitters is a particularly peculiar prohibition, because Angostura bitters is 45% alcohol, a greater proof than most liquor.
