Best burger and bbq ribs in NYC? Will be visiting in April. What do you know about Joe Allen's and Katz's?

They both suck. Head over to Katz's on E. Houston two blocks east of Allen (turns into 1st Ave north of Houston) Street, right on the corner of Ludlow.

I’ve never been a fan of Carnegie because I think the food is pretty awful. Note, though, that Katz's also only takes cash. But the pastrami is sublime!

I’d think twice about Congee Bowery. Both times I’ve been there, the reservation was lost. The food was only OK, nowhere near as good as Allen St., or 98 Bowery.

Shouldn’t be too hard to find. check with the Rays on Houston near Katz's, the pizza place on 2nd Ave/St Marks, or if push comes to shove, I think the Dominos on Allen/Houston has it.
