Try Allen and Son, on Highway 86 about a mile north of I-40. I’d guess its about 20 minutes or so from the airport. Excellent BBQ...very much the real deal.

For Barbecue I recommend Allen & Son on NC 86. Their barbecue is still cooked over wood and hand chopped. One of my top 5 favorites in NC!
