Viva Tequila?
I am looking for a place to grab a drink and snack, preferably mexican, after a show. Someone suggested Viva Tequila. Is it really crowded on Fridays? Is it even any good? Thanks! (1 reply, last updated by bo May 1, 2001)

Viva in Red Hook
was based on a specific Mexican region (I don’t remember exactly where) and Viva is Tex-Mex, but the folks in El Huipal’s kitchen really worked hard to put out a great product. Their mole was sublime. (8 replies, last updated by hee jong jong March 23, 2009)

Viva in Red Hook
We stopped by Viva in Red Hook for lunch today. It’s at the same location as the much missed Huipil. It bills itself as Tex Mex food but seemed a lot more authentic than your self-styled Tex Mex joint. Anyway, a similar... (11 replies, last updated by scooter October 23, 2008)

Viva Empanada in Lovely Howard Beach

White asparagus bargain at Viva Grande - New Rochelle
Pat, is Viva Grande the one on Main Street and if so, what is the name of the supposedly larger store, related I think, Rancho Grande maybe? Also, where is the bigger one and is it that much better than the one on main? (5 replies, last updated by laylag May 19, 2009)

Viva - How have I not known about this?
While biking around Red Hook the other night, my friend and I stumbled upon Viva. Food was really tasty, really affordable and the lovely server gave us free lethal margaritas to boot. This is not a high class joint, but the food... (2 replies, last updated by Greg May 5, 2008)

This queen or king of mangoes is back at Viva Grande market in New Rochelle. Three for a dollar. They must just have arrived because I was there a few days ago and didn’t see them. I bought them at the outside market. (0 replies, last updated by Pat Hammond February 27, 2009)
