Where to buy Galangal, Kaffir Lime Leaves
Grow your own kaffir lime tree. I bought one from Home Depot and keep it in a container. Cut leaves whenever you need it. It’s great and the juice from the wrinkly lime is amazing, great for marinades and salad dressing. (12 replies, last updated by nc March 3, 2006)

Wow, you’re lucky to have a banana tree! Halibut or any oily type of fish would be good steamed in banana leaves. I tried it with lemongrass, thai sweet basil, and a little bit of grated lime peel. (9 replies, last updated by Gwen March 25, 2006)
